Hello, I'm Rey Marz, or more accurately I'm a creepy painting of Rey Marz. |

My home base is in Southern California. I also have relatives in Texas, Kansas, Maine, and even Mexico! If you would like to contact me, feel free to leave a message in the guestbook (your email address will be kept secure). Or, if you would like to be even more confidential, send email.
To get to know me better, read my blog at the Illustrated Movie Review or browse the list below:
Favorite Movies For this category, I thought I would say why I think each movie is unique: 1. Spirited Away (a very believable spirit world) 2. Valley of the Wind (weird toxic jungles) 3. Kiki's Delivery Service (muggles living in harmony with a witch who uses her talents to help people rather than play Quidditch all the time) 4. Dark Crystal (free-roaming puppets on an epic adventure that will change the very foundations of their world . . . ultimately leaving no room for long drawn-out sequels!) 5. Labyrinth (a sophisticated kingdom of goblins with M.C. Escher architecture and David Bowie weirdness) 6. Ghostbusters (offbeat firefighters protecting us from the afterlife) 7. Edward Scissorhands (a fairytale re-imagining of Frankenstein with a very influential soundtrack and lots of scissors)
Miscellaneous Facts My birthday is April Fool's Day and that's no joke! I have an Egyptian-themed mural at the University of California, Riverside. I write and draw like a lefty, but I play ball like a right-hander. Sometimes I feel like my hairdo has a mind of its own. . . .
